Worry, worry, everywhere – and not a solution to think! No matter how much thinking we do, we can’t seem to think our way out of worry. When we are worried, we are not really in the present moment: this is why we will go back to check to see if we’ve locked the door a few seconds after locking it. It’s ironic that, when we are swimming in our own world of worry-thoughts, we make the exact mistakes in the real world that we try so hard to avoid. Worry takes us out of life, and it is not effective. In fact, it can be tormenting.
